Chris and Emily give themselves selflessly everyday in their professions, so to have their family and friends reciprocate with admiration and love on their wedding day was so humbling to see. They kept their bridal party small and included siblings and extremely close friends. Emily is the first Bride I have photographed that chose white for her bridesmaids...and I LOVED the dynamic of the colors. So classy and beautiful. They had planned for an outdoor ceremony at Oxbow Country Club, but a last minute decision to move it indoor was needed due to the rain. Oxbow was quick to make some last minute alterations for their small ceremony guest list. They chose to have 50 guests at their wedding and then have a larger party for their dinner and dance. Their will stand out as on of my most memorable because they had Heart and Soul live performing! Gosh darn can that woman SING! (along with all the other bandmates rocking out on the drums, guitars and piano) Right after their first dances, Emily requested a Carpenter song be played in remembrance of her Mother that passed away and asked their guests to join them on the dance floor. There wasn't a square inch that wasn't covered with people and went way beyond the dance floor into the tables. It was so heartfelt and warm. Then they rounded the dance off with some cut outs of themselves, to say it was hilarious watching their faces make their way through the crowds and dance floor, would be an understatement. There's just a few of my favorites, enjoy!
