These two... I promise you they have an amazing marriage ahead of them. They nearly had to be forced to not smile for some serious photos. Both of them had THE biggest smile on their faces the entire day, which just radiated, plain and simple. There were a few touching moments to remember and include Mark's mother. I had the honor of meeting Debbie when I photographed Mark's brother and sister-in-law's wedding a few years ago, sadly she passed away just a couple short months later. Mark carried a single white rose down the aisle, a candle was lit in her memory the entire day and Mark's sisters planned a very memorable Mother-Son dance. They had 12 women that have had an impact and influence throughout Mark's life, dance with him. Starting with his Grandmother, and ending with his Bride. To say there wasn't a dry eye, would be an understatement. Also, Kassidy's engagement ring bears Debbie's diamond from her own ring. Debbie will hold a special place throughout their life and marriage. Another personal touch was Kassidy's bouquet. It consisted of her Mother and Grandmothers jewelry. And, her Uncle's hats were shared by all on different tables as a memoir.
Mark and Kassidy were married at Riverbend in Valley City, ND. I was SO excited to see the rolling hills!! (Fargo has none.. unless you count the river dikes haha!) And, we had a break in the rain clouds just long enough to get a few peeks of sun! Right at the very end of their ceremony the sprinkles started and everyone beelined it for the tent ready to eat and dance the night away. I have so, so, so many favorites!
