The Thompson's

This family is new to me. Tonia had done a search for photographers and came across my website. She loved my photos and decided she wanted me to take their family photos this year.
The boys were so darn cute in their matching shirts. And the littlest ones smile... even serious face OH MY! Can't help by smile with him.
Enjoy!

The Saarinen's

Heidi had the perfect spot in mind for their family photos this year. I have driven by it...countless times and never noticed it. The tree had died many years ago and was standing up until early summer. Schedules didn't line up for their photos, and the tree fell before we could capture it standing. I must say I'm pretty in love with it even fallen down.

Seth missed the winning touchdown from the Bison homecoming game, just for their session. What a trooper. :) He caught the tail end of the game on the radio and was more that ecstatic to hear they won!

Rafe is growing like crazy and has become such a gentleman. And, curious as ever. :)

Enjoy!

The Rampelberg's

These guys have been a wonderful family to get to know over the past few years. Haley is in college now, so it was a treat to have her home for a weekend for family photos. They just so happen to be Sioux fans and requested a photo in their jerseys. The sun setting made for the perfect backdrop to showcase the jerseys.

Here are a few of my favorites, enjoy!

Gabriel & Samuel

I have been photographing Gabriel and Samuel for the past 4 years, and all I can think about each time is how much they've changed and grown. No more chubby little boy cheeks or short leg waddles. And, they have grown into such smart, adorable, caring little men. Samuel picked flowers for mom... even the ones that were past their prime. He saw right past it and thought they were beautiful flowers. Such an innocence that one has to treasure as there will come a day when that innocence has gone.

Krista & Andrew

Krista and Andrew are one of my wonderful wedding couples for 2016! For their engagement session we headed down to one of my favorite spots, only to find that the city dismantled it by putting in a new dike, I was super bummed.  Buuuuuut, I am so happy with the new spot we went to. IN LOVE with the sunlight, trees, grass.... in love with it all!

Krista was all too accepting of the hugs and kisses that Andrew was giving, and Andrew seemed to  really be enjoying attention, too :) I am so excited for what their wedding has in store. Krista has been hard at work being creative and coming up with all sorts of pretty good ideas. I won't give any away, but I will be sure to document her creativity on their wedding day.

Here are a couple of my favorites, enjoy!
