{Nelson and Jodi} Engaged!: Bemidji Wedding Photographer

I met Nelson and Jodi from a referral from Kimberly at Prairie Petals in Fargo. I was having my studio grand opening and my fiancĂ© had Kimberly design a floral bouquet for me. As they got talking, it came out that I am a photographer. Kimberly asked if she could get my information... and little did I know that it was because a wonderful friend of hers, was engaged and in need of a photographer. I met with Nelson and Jodi here in Fargo to talk about their wedding and it immediately clicked. They are, without a question, some of the most genuine and honest people on earth.

Nelson, born in Argentina, came to the US and teaches at the Concordia Language Villages in Bemidji, which is where they first met. The area is absolutely beautiful and is truly like a little village for German, Spanish, Chinese and French.

Jodi was at Concordia Villages for International Day, and her first look at Nelson was great, so she says. She took a double look (which she says she has NEVER done before) so right away, she knew he was something more...

This first photo is of the courtyard in the German village, where she first laid eyes on Nelson. They then met again in the front yard of the German village.

This is the courtyard of the Spanish village where Nelson teaches. After their first look, Jodi met up with Nelson again when he was her dance instructor.

This is one of my favs.... LOVE.  ...(p.s. see the little bouquet of dandelions in his hand?? yup, she picked them for him :)

I have come to know these two quite well.  We have spent a nice amount of time together and I can say that I have gained two wonderful friends! I am SO excited for these two and can't wait for their wedding at Rustic Oaks this September. I hope that you enjoyed these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them!

{Angali} Senior Photos: Fargo Senior Photographer

Anjali (love her name) had her senior photos taken already, but when her friend, Morganne, showed her some of the photos I had taken, Anjali also wanted me to take a few photos of her!  She is very quiet,  extremely polite, loves to read and is an aspiring photographer. I think she has a wonderful future ahead of her. Enjoy!

Killer heels with such a fun dress... now if only I could wear heels like that.

Elevate Rock Concert

My other soon-to-be step-daughter takes guitar lessons at the Elevate Rock School here in Fargo, and they put on a concert at the Venue last weekend. It was AMAZING! Each Elevate student is in a "band" and they perform 1-2 songs. Each band has a singer, guitar, bass, drums and keyboard players. It is such a great and unique experience that most kids do not get to take part in. I almost wish I was young again and could play in a band like they did... LOL. It was like you were at a real concert with all the lights and a screaming audience!  It was crazy to see the talent of these young kids that we have in Fargo. If you have children, I definitely recommend the Elevate Rock School if they are interested in any type of music!

Davies Prom 2012

My soon-to-be step-daughter had her first prom this year at Davies. I was asked to take some photos of the gorgeous group! It was a rainy day, but we made the most of it and took some great indoor photos! Enjoy!

{Jaydee} Lifestyle Session: Fargo Lifestyle Photographer

Little Miss Jaydee just turned one and I was asked to capture a couple precious moments with her. She has bright beautiful brown eyes and loves being at her Grandma's house with the horses and LOTS of room to run and enjoy the beautiful weather! I loved her "Ed Hardy" shirt :) Enjoy!
